Mr Lansley, I don’t trust you.

October 15, 2011

Sometimes it is not what politicians say. It is what they refrain from saying, with great effort.

Andrew Lansley has spent most of this year in “Listening Exercises” – a revealing term in itself as it implies that the rest of the time the Government was not listening. But has he heard anything?

His silent reaction to this eloquent and polite NHS worker’s point on Thursday’s BBC Question Time says it all. I present it in this 24 second video.

In that one involuntary expression, Lansley reveals himself. The clarity of disdain, the patronising sense of entitlement, the refusal to take reasonable points on board – plain to see. Also, absolutely characteristic of this arrogant, deceitful and dangerous government. Do not believe a word they say – look into their eyes instead.

Hahaha! Superb. It looked like the fried baby koala bear he had for lunch was repeating.

It’s no surprise – as part of CPC11 there was a filmed debate between Andrew Lansley & various people from organisations within or connected to the NHS – done by a website called Health Hotel He was SO rude to people when they challenged him I’m surprised he wasn’t decked.
Well worth checking out the following if you’re unsure about why lobbying and privatisation of the NHS is so contentious:

As you say, it’s the disdain which is really worrying. This Government has no mandate and yet thinks it has no need whatsoever to take into account the views of the electorate.

I have never felt more disenfranchised.

The disdain is clear. This lot are fighting for the rights of the 1% against those pesky peasants the 99%, the human beings, the real people…

The world is weary of statesmen who have
    degraded democracy by politics
    and politics by profit.

The government doesn’t run the NHS the pharaceutical industry does. Take the anti- alcohol, obesity & smoking programmes being propagandised at present, initiated by the WHO in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry, and BP fund/give grants to the anti-organisations & WHO. Alcohol, they have pills to wean people off drink, obesity, they have pills to make people lose weight, smoking, well they have a variety of products, patches, gum, Champix (which incidentally have killed a lot of people, there’s a lawsuit going on now, Pfizer)inhalors. The strange thing is electronic cigarettes, smokeless/tobacco less, which help those wanting to quit smoking are being banned because they resemble a cigarette, who is behind this, the anti-smoking lobby, funded by big pharma. Money it’s always about the money, they couldn’t care less about people’s health as long as the profits keep rolling in. and politicans
